Credits & Plans

This guide explains how our credit system works, how to manage your subscription, and how tasks are billed.

Flarecut Studio operates on a credit-based system. You purchase a subscription plan which gives you a monthly allowance of credits. These credits are consumed when you use our AI tools to generate content.

The Lifecycle of a Task: How Credits are Used

Section titled “The Lifecycle of a Task: How Credits are Used”

The process from starting a task to its completion involves a few steps to ensure fair and accurate billing, especially for complex models.

  1. Real-Time Cost Estimate When you configure an AI model’s parameters, the interface will show you a real-time estimate of the credit cost for that task.

  2. Credit Reservation When you click “Generate,” the estimated number of credits is reserved from your balance. These credits are held but not yet spent.

  3. Final Cost Calculation & Settlement The final cost of a task is determined once it is complete.

    • For many models, the final cost will match the estimate perfectly.
    • For some advanced models, the cost is based on the output (e.g., the final duration of a generated video). This can cause the final cost to be slightly different from the initial estimate.

Once the task is finished, the final cost is settled from your reserved credits. Any difference is automatically credited back to your account or deducted accordingly.

  • Task Errors: If a task fails due to an error on our end, you will be refunded 100% of the reserved credits.
  • Manual Cancellations: If you choose to cancel a task while it is still processing, you will be refunded 50% of the reserved credits.

Each subscription tier comes with a set amount of credits that are added to your account monthly. You can purchase a plan that fits your content creation needs via Stripe.

You have full control over your subscription. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time directly from the billing menu on your dashboard.
